LOT Polish Airlines welcomes a new Boeing 737 Max 8 to its fleet. Upon its early morning arrival at Warsaw Chopin Airport, the new aircraft, registered as SP-LVN, was greeted with a traditional water salute by the fire brigade. LOT Polish Airlines was honored with the "Ceesar Award" for being the best long-haul airline in Central and Eastern Europe. Furthermore, the airline received recognition for its exceptional check-in and boarding process, manager of the year 2024, the best net profit in the airline industry, and the route of the year 2024 (Wrocław - Seoul). The competition took place in Wrocław and aimed to recognize airlines based on votes cast by verified airline passengers. This annual plebiscite and the accompanying gala dinner have become the most prominent event in the industry among professionals for over a dozen years. LOT Polish Airlines participated in the XVI European Economic Congress in Katowice, themed 'Transform Today, Change Tomorrow.' Michal Fijol CEO of LOT Polish Airlines, announced the acquisition of three new Embraer E195-E2s for its fleet. He highlighted, “This enhancement to our fleet not only marks our continued commitment to sustainable aviation but also celebrates our partnership with Embraer since the introduction of the first E-jet in 2004. With the E195-E2’s efficiency and passenger comfort, we are set to enhance our network, introducing additional frequencies to selected destinations.” Delivery of these aircraft is expected later this year. LOT Polish Airlines participated in the celebration of the 3rd of May Constitution Day in Chicago. The parade marked 233 years since the declaration of one of the world’s oldest constitutions and stands as the largest parade for this holiday outside Poland.
